Literature LIVE!

Changing Lives…One Story at a Time!

Literature LIVE! is the Austin Public Library’s own puppetry & storytelling troupe, and they create and perform shows throughout the year at Faulk Central Library and 20 neighborhood branch libraries, as well as the Dougherty Arts Center and local museums.  The artists of Literature LIVE! are masters in the art of puppetry and storytelling; powerful mediums that strengthen the bond between libraries and families, schools, and community organizations in the areas of education and literacy. With over 100 performances each year, Literature LIVE! delights thousands of children and their caregivers, connecting them to a love of literature and libraries.
