Most of our lives revolve around food. Early in the morning the question is: what’s for breakfast? Later: how about lunch? And when the sun goes down we are munching our dinner. We eat three times a day just like clockwork, or sometimes more, if you like to graze all day.
Everybody talks about food: what is the best restaurant in town? Can you share that recipe? And because of its importance, we see more and more documentaries about the quality of food we put in our bodies. The first one of this kind that I remember was Supersize Me, which immediately stopped my fast food cravings. A few years later we had Food Inc. which caused a lot of buzz as well.
Below are some new documentaries about this topic. Some might seem a little extreme to you, but at the end, the most important thing is that they make us think about what we are eating and how responsible we are with our bodies and our planet. We can always change something to make our food experience not only richer but better for everyone. Bon appétit!
