We are firmly planted at the Ruiz Branch for Night Crafters now and I couldn't be more pleased!  We've had great attendance there over the last couple of months, which I hope encourages you to attend as well!  We have some good old fashioned crafting fun.  This month we'll be learning a little bit of simple macrame and make some plant holders.  These are not the big elaborate orange/brown/tan owls that hung on the wall of your parents' house back in the 1970s; these are fun and simple with some beautiful colors.  I've got all sorts of cording and string to use for your macrame desires.  I also have some beautiful air plants you could use to put in your sweet new plant holder.  Grab a friend and come on over to Ruiz to do some knotting.  If you can't make it or want more about the craft, check out our booklist!

Meet us in the meeting room at Ruiz at 6:30 pm on Monday.  For more information call Ruiz at 512-974-7500,  This is an adults only craft program.  There are many family and children programs at the library, check the calendar for where and when.  I hope to see you there on Monday!
