Play Read Grow

Early Literacy Workshop

Babies are born learning, and you can help prepare your child for success! Learn how to use play every day to get your children ready to read and succeed with this hands on workshop for parents and their little ones! Find out how to support your child’s early learning with Storytime Connection.

This free workshop will give you an overview of the basics of early literacy, and show you how to incorporate five simple practices into every day that will help ensure your child’s success.

Then, you’ll have plenty of hands-on time to practice what you’ve learned at our five early literacy stations where you and your child can learn together through playful literacy activities, and make some fun literacy toys to take home with you!

A free class for parents and caregivers of children under age 5. Children are welcome!
