Badgerdog Workshop Series
5833 Westminster Dr.
In this six-week workshop series, we will explore the different techniques for developing "real people," with close attention paid to how character-writing shapes stories and essays. We will examine short fiction, short narrative essays, and experimental prose. By studying the different ways classic and contemporary authors have developed characters, we will hone methods for creating our own, and see how character details stack to form a narrative. You'll leave the workshop with a cast of characters rich enough to fill future novels, short stories, essays, and memoirs. Led by Badgerdog teaching artist Ellie Paolini, this workshops is free and open to adults, age 18 and up.Please register via Eventbrite as space is limited.
