Citizenship Classes & Immigration 101

The Austin Public Library presents a new season of FREE opportunities to learn about the immigration and U.S. citizenship process: a 10-part Citizenship Class Series in north and south Austin and the Immigration 101 Series taking place at various locations around town.

Citizenship Classes: A 10-Part Series
For those considering the path toward citizenship, these classes will provide an overview of the 100 question civics test, part of the naturalization test offered by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The classes are conducted in English only because the citizenship exam is in English.

Immigration 101 Series
Partnering with Catholic Charities of Central Texas, Immigration Legal Services these sessions will provide an overview of the U.S. immigration process and will provide information about significant changes in immigration law. These classes are conducted in Spanish only.
