Hampton Branch at Oak Hill Will Close on Friday, August 24, at 6 PM for Renovations

Beginning on Friday, August 24, at 6 PM, the Hampton Branch at Oak Hill will be closed for approximately nine months for a complete renovation.
The Hampton Branch at Oak Hill and its book drop will be closed during the renovation. However, in partnership with the Parks and Recreation Department, Bookmobile services will be available at the nearby Dick Nichols District Park, 8011 Beckett Rd. Check the Mobile Library page for dates and times.
For full Library services in the interim, please visit the nearest Library:
Manchaca Road Branch, 5500 Manchaca Rd.
Pleasant Hill Branch, 211. E. William Cannon Dr.
Southeast Branch, 5803 Nuckols Crossing Rd.
Twin Oaks Branch, 1800 S. 5th St.
The Hampton Branch Library at Oak Hill renovation project was part of the 2012 Bond Program. The project includes the following work:
- Replacing existing roof and skylights
- Updating electrical systems
- Upgrading plumbing fixtures
- Upgrading HVAC controllers
- Technology data and wiring upgrades
- Floor replacement
- Furniture replacement
- ADA requirement compliance
- Interior painting
