Austin Public Library facilities and the Austin History Center will be CLOSED Saturday, May 25, through Monday, May 27. Recycled Reads, the Austin Public Library’s used bookstore, will be open Saturday and Sunday, but will be closed on Memorial Day.

For each item you purchase, you can donate as little as $20 to the Library. Download and fill out a Gift Donation Form in PDF. Then, send it along with your check to P.O. Box 2287, Austin TX 78768. Gift donations can also be made at any of our Library locations.

Once the donation has been processed, your recipients will receive a letter from Austin Public Library announcing that you have made a donation in their honor and their name will be inscribed on a special bookplate inside the “gifted” book. To ensure notification in time for the holidays, please send your own card.
