Join us for a celebration of Trace Relations on Monday, July 2 at 7 p.m. at the Windsor Park Branch, 5833 Westminster Dr. Trailers for the films South Texas Soul and Dallas Electric will be screened followed by a short music performance by Trace Relations with a Q&A session at the end. Twelve years of work have been woven into the CD Prosperity Street along with two documentaries, South Texas Soul and Dallas Electric. The films focus on celebrating the musical styles emanating from Central Texas, and studying the blues sound that rose up from Dallas. The CD showcases Augie Meyers, Shawn Sahm and a who’s who of Texas musicians. The event is free and open to the public.
