Are you way ahead on your costume? Have you already planned how you want to pose for pictures on the big day?
Are we talking about prom? No! We are in need of some avid YomiFans to help us with a dress rehearsal for our photo booth!
YomiCon, Austin Public Library's teen anime & manga convention, takes place at the Carver Branch, 1161 Angelina St. on Friday, June 14, from 3-8 PM. YomiCon is for teens, but parents are welcome too! We are not going to have an online registration this year. Just show up Friday, June 14 at 3 PM and come on in. The first 750 people will get in.
We'd like to know if you are interested in coming to a monthly anime/manga club. Some locations already have them, but we are curious when you can come and where. Answer these two questions and let us know when and where you'd like an anime/manga club!
Thanks!
Hello YomiCon fans! We’ve got some exciting news. Mark your calendars for March 14, 2014, because the team that brought you YomiCon is launching something new!
2008 was the first YomiCon; it’s hard to believe that we’ve been staging YomiCon for 5 years! But it’s become such a huge event that trying out new ideas has become harder for us to do – and there’s so much we want to try! Our spring 2014 event will be a way for us to dream it up anew, and we want to make sure you can get involved.
