Doing laundry is always an adventure, or sometimes the beginning of a mystery: one lone sock emerges from the pile without its mate. Where did that other sock go? Maybe there is a magical sock land that has fabric softener fountains and rivers of suds to dance around in. Left with a box of lone socks, what is a person to do? Well, here is an idea for you - make puppets!

For as long as socks have been around, there probably have been people putting them on their hands and making merriment. A sock puppet can be as simple or as complicated as you would like it to be.
