Beginning August 13, 2023, the Austin History Center will be closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays, due to current and pending construction, repairs, and relocation efforts happening at the John Henry Faulk and Austin History Center campus. 

AHC's new hours of operation: 

Monday-Tuesday: Closed 

Wednesday-Saturday: 10am-6pm

Sunday: 12pm-5pm 

Additionally, the AHC will be closed during the month of October, from 10/2 until 10/30. These dates may change based on the status of construction happening on-site. Please check https://library.austintexas.gov/ahc/about-us for updates.
