When will I receive my Enhanced Library Card? Do I need to make an appointment? link

Cards are printed at the time the application is accepted, and the applicant’s photo is taken. It should take 15 – 20 minutes to apply for and receive your Enhanced Library Card. You will leave with your Enhanced Library Card after your application is accepted. There is no need to make an appointment.

Enhanced Library Cards are printed at three Austin Public Library locations, which include:

  • Little Walnut Creek Branch, 835 W. Rundberg Ln
  • St. John Branch, 7500 Blessing Ave.
  • Southeast Branch, 5803 Nuckols Crossing Rd.
