Milwood Movie Night

Come join us for Milwood Movie Night on Thursday June 16th at 6pm to watch the beloved cult classic Harold and Maude through a new lens for Jewish American Heritage Month. Maude is an iconic cinematic character for her lust for life and seize-the-day attitude but many forget that the context for this mentality is her experience as an Auschwitz survivor. The film is a profound and joyous celebration of unconventionality and the resilience of the human spirit. The event is co-sponsored by the Austin Jewish Community Archive.
