The Art of Meditation

In the Art of Meditation class, the participants will be introduced to various meditation and visualization techniques, including mantra meditation, single-object meditation, breath-awareness meditation, meta meditation, and mindfulness of the present moment.

The content of this class is based on Farnaz Masumian’s The Divine Art of Meditation: meditation and visualization techniques for a healthy mind, body and soul, which is the result of almost a decade of research on the subject of meditation.

Library programs and workshops reflect the creative endeavors and diverse interests of the Austin community.
