Stay cool with the library by: literature.live

This Friday is the first day of summer - and it's starting to feel like a real Texas June around here. Every time my cat comes inside, she flops down on the concrete to cool off... and sometimes I feel like following her lead! There are all kinds of ways to keep cool in the summer - eating cold foods like ice cream, watermelon,  and snow cones, jumping in the icy water at Barton Springs, or staying inside with an art project or a good book. We've also got lots of activities planned for youth this summer at your local branch of the Library.
