"SPARKLE & SPIN: DJ Confidence for Tween Queens” with Lauren Light is a dynamic and empowering course designed specifically for girls aged 9-12.
Led by professional DJ and confidence coach Lauren Light, this single-day workshop aims to boost self-assurance and empower young girls to channel their inner DJ persona in moments when they need to be brave!
Through a combination of interactive activities, music exploration, and confidence-building exercises, tween queens will leave feeling empowered, confident, and ready to take on any challenge!

Lauren Light is a former educator turned Austin based DJ for the girls.
She aims to be a catalyst for change, bridging local artists' talents
through her digital zine, SHE A ISSUE which centers on highlighting
the stories of local and emerging black and brown artists.
She currently hosts Haven, a weekly open decks safe space and girly
kickback, and is working to produce an all women showcase in 2024
that highlights the women featured in the first volume of SHE A ISSUE.
Beyond music, she champions unity and shared stories, believing in
the power of collaboration.
