Garbage Truck Storytime!
Is trash day your favorite day of the week? Then this storytime is for you! We’ll celebrate one of our favorite municipal marvels with books, songs, and hands-on crafts all about sanitation services. Afterward, meet Austin’s very own Sanitation Workers and get an up-close look at a real garbage truck—including a live demo of the side-loader arm in action!
Storytime for children aged 5 and under and their parents, featuring stories, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, and crafts or other extension activities. Program length can vary.
