Banned Books Week Kickoff - A Celebration of Reading for All

Featuring City of Austin's Poet Laureate Zell Miller, Reverie Books, Texas Freedom to Read Project, and Director Hannah Terrell; Austin Public Library is excited to kickoff Banned Books Week at our Menchaca Branch for an afternoon celebrating Reading for All! Come be part of the 'Banned' and rock-out reading style, hear and do poetry activities, learn history about Book Banning and maybe even buy a book from our tabling supporter Reverie Books.
