CREATE!  Circle Art Inspired by Wassily Kandinsky

Austin Public Library is celebrating its 100th birthday this year! We’re reaching back 100 years to find art and artists to inspire us today. Join us as we make a project inspired by Wassily Kandinsky who was creating their own art in the 1920’s.Celebrate Austin Public Library!  We're turning 100, so come on over and have some fun with us!

A Century of Art is a creative program where you can experience the art of someone who was popular 100 years ago. . . and is still well-known today. This art stands the test of time, but can you make some even better? Come see!

This month will be Kandinsky, most famous for his concentric circles, but he did so much more. Explore the abstract and colorful patterns of his art with us.
