Roots and Wings: Author Storytime and Activities with Adriana Hernandez Bergstrom

We’re excited to be hosting an official Roots & Wings Festival Event! The Roots & Wings Festival is held from Saturday, October 18th-Sunday, November 2nd, and is a community-wide celebration honoring Arbor Day and Monarch Appreciation Day in Austin. Join us in celebrating this Festival on November 1st with Roots and Wings Festival: Author Storytime and Activities with Adriana Hernandez Bergstrom. Author-illustrator Adriana Hernandez Bergstrom will read her book Tumble. Then, we will enjoy educational activities. All youth and their families are welcome. While you are here, please add to our community Día de los Muertos altar and enjoy Día de los Muertos decorations created by our neighborhood youth. ¡Nos emociona ser nuevamente anfitriones de un evento oficial del Festival Roots & Wings! El Festival Roots & Wings se llevará a cabo del sábado 18 de octubre al domingo 2 de noviembre en diferentes ubicaciones en Austin. Esta es una celebración comunitaria en honor al Día del Árbol y el Día de Apreciación de la mariposa Monarca en nuestra ciudad. Únase a nosotros para celebrar este festival el sábado 1 de noviembre con la presentación de la autora Adriana Hernandez Bergstrom. La autora e ilustradora Adriana Hernández Bergstrom se unirá a nosotros para leer su libro Tumble. Los asistentes a este programa también disfrutarán de actividades educativas. Este es un evento familiar.
