World Batik Day Celebration
Celebration World Batik Day with us! Experience the art of Batik, learn to create beautiful patterns, and take home your own handmade textiles. No experience required. All materials provided. Limited to 25 seats. We will start handing out tickets 30 minutes before the event begins and each person must be present to pick up a ticket. First come, first served.
Batik is a traditional textile art where patterns are created on fabric using wax-resist dyeing. In the year of 2009, UNESCO recognized education and training in Indonesian Batik as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
Are you a crafter? Do you wish you were a crafter? We’ll focus on a different craft every month; we’ll learn the basics, we’ll learn the ins and outs, and then we’ll let loose. Come learn with us!
