featuring Juliann Krute

In celebration of AANHPI month, come learn the traditional Japanese cord braiding technique of kumihimo. Kumihimo has been used in Japan for many centuries, making both functional and decorative cords used in everything from samurai armor to modern Kimono decoration. In this class, we’ll learn two or three basic braid patterns that you can use to make jewelry, wrist straps, or plant hangers. Learn to use up yarn or embroidery floss to create a unique and beautiful braid of your own.

This program is for adults 18+ only please.

Are you a crafter? Do you wish you were a crafter? We’ll focus on a different craft every month; we’ll learn the basics, we’ll learn the ins and outs, and then we’ll let loose. Come learn with us!
