Gourds 101

Join Rona Thornton of the Texas Gourd Society in this fun and unique art medium. We will stick to basics for this class and you will create your own masterpiece. You will choose a gourd, have access to paints and supplies and tools, and guidance to elevate your creativeness. You’ll learn about the global history of gourds, growing gourds in your garden, other decorative finishes, and even a show and tell of my personal and worldwide collection.

Are you a crafter? Do you wish you were a crafter? We’ll focus on a different craft every month; we’ll learn the basics, we’ll learn the ins and outs, and then we’ll let loose. Come learn with us!
