Kids Create: Woven Paper Bowls
Celebrate Native American Heritage Month by creating a woven paper bowl using yarn and a paper plate.
Basket weaving is one of the oldest Native American crafts. Baskets can be used for food gathering, storage, sacred ceremonies, and much more. Like many Native American arts, traditional basket styles are unique among different tribes. Baskets can be made from a variety of different natural materials, including bark, grass, pine needles, and more.
