Pollinator Week - Nature Photography Workshop with Amelia DeVivo

Join us for this outdoor experience if you are interested in photography and want to learn more about lighting and composition, while enjoying nature around you. 

Be prepared by bringing your smart phone or camera and walking shoes.

This 2 hour workshop will include:

  • Intros and overview of basic photography techniques (30 min). Examples in nature, Q&A, and prep for outside.
  • Outdoor field experience (60 min). Participants are introduced to various native vegetation (site dependent) and encouraged to practice using different compositions while walking or touring an area with iPhones, cameras, or iPads.
  • Review and close (30 min.) Participants send photos to shared account and we review our collective body of work and admire our joint gallery. Select photos are updated to our @naturecityatx Instagram and Facebook account to be published City wide (contingent on participants approval).
