About Alzheimer’s Association Capital of Texas Chapter

The Alzheimer’s Association Capital of Texas Chapter is located in southwest Austin and supports diagnosed individuals, their families and caregivers, and the professionals who care for them. They offer support groups, educational programs, individualized planning provided by master's-level clinicians, and community resource lists.

About the Presenter:

Brittany Brown has been a Volunteer Community Educator with the Alzheimer’s Association Capital of Texas Chapter for the last three years. She has five years of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in memory care communities, skilled nursing facilities, and private home health care. It is her passion to educate families during their difficult caregiving journey. She is honored to present this education series to the Austin Public Library patrons as a part of the Alzheimer’s Association's mission of "accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support"!
