Artist, Emmy-nominated filmmaker, and national bestselling author Tiffany Shlain announces the installation of her celebrated sculpture Dendrofemonology: A Feminist History Tree Ring along with the worldwide premiere of her iterative film We Are Here at the Austin Central Library on October 27, 2026.
Dendrofemonology is a moveable monument that aims to spark dialogue and galvanize attention on women’s rights, which began as an installation on the National Mall in 2023. We are Here is a film project that began four years ago and has screened worldwide, with the latest version debuting live in Austin on October 27 along with a digital release made available for screenings nationwide.
