Cooking Club: "To Be Seen" Documentary Screening + Q&A

This month we bring you a special documentary film screening!

In his debut documentary feature, director/composer David Liu presents a film that takes traditional and vérité interview segments of four local Austin restaurants (L’Oca D’oroForeign and DomesticLeRoy and Lewis Barbecue, and Pho Craft) and weaves together stories of community, purpose, and survival following the years during and after a global lockdown.

(Film Runtime: 84 minutes)

Join us in the Central Library's Special Event Center to spend the evening watching the film and learning about its production directly from the wonderful filmmakers at Narriforge! Additionally, explore what some of our other APL programs - including Cooking Club, and Film Strip Club - have to offer!

Note: Please be aware that the community-created works featured through Film Strip Club may contain flashing lights on screen.

Join us for a movie screening. Watch and discover new films at the Austin Public Library.
