Based on the 2004 novel of the same name, The Big Year (2011) follows a group of birding enthusiasts as they meet up over the course of a year to look for elusive and rare wild birds. As the year progresses, the competition increases as lives come apart and priorities change. The Big Year is a gentle comedy about people and what’s really important in life.

Starring Steve Martin, Jack Black, Owen Wilson, John Cleese, and Jo Beth Williams.

The Big Year is rated PG for mild amounts of sex, profanity, and drug use.
