What would it take to get Meg Ryan to fall in love with Tim Robbins? A lot of help from Albert Einstein, of course. When auto mechanic Tim Robbins falls for Einstein’s niece (Meg Ryan), an aspiring mathematician in her own right, a super team of the greatest physicists alive conspires to help him out. Despite all the genius, high jinks ensue. High jinks that go all the way to the top, and I mean the very top (also starring Keene Curtis as Dwight D. Eisenhower).

I.Q. (1994) is a quirky romantic comedy from the 90s. Roger Ebert gave it 3.5 stars out of 4, calling Walter Matthau’s casting as Einstein brilliant, a work of genius, and worthy of an Oscar nomination. Really it is Matthau that makes this movie worth watching.
