Movie Night

Join us for a screening of Ian Softley’s Hackers We are borrowing some of the library's AV equipment from the Innovation lab so we will have a huge 130” projected screen, with BIG sound. Doors open at 5:25 with the film starting at 5:30

The Film: Hackers

Happy National Pride Month everybody! Hackers is the story of a group of estranged teens blamed for a crime that they did not commit because of assumptions made by a society that doesn’t understand them and powerful authority figures scapegoating them to cover up their own crimes… HAPPY PRIDE!!

Hacker’s Costume Designer Roger K Burton credits Wigstock, a NewYork Drag Festival as the inspiration for the film’s iconic costuming. The film also features a classic 90s electronic soundtrack, beautiful computer hacking scenes, and we even get a little bit of rollerblading.

Runtime: 1 Hr. 47 Mins. [PG-13 for some sexuality and brief strong language]
