Plain Jane & the Mermaid
Are you a kid who loves reading comics? Then come join us as we explore a different middle grade graphic novel each month. Ages 8 to 12.
In October, we'll be reading Plain Jane & the Mermaid by Vera Brosgol. Jane hopes, by proposing to Peter, she will gain some independence and he will be able to get away from his domineering father. What she's not expecting is for Peter to get kidnapped by a mermaid, leading her on a quest to save him from an underwater world full of mystery.
Registration closes at noon on Wednesday, October 14.
