Explore the stories of Native Americans in Texas both past and present during August’s H-E-B Free First Sunday with free exhibit admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and themed family activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Learn about Cherokee language and culture with the Central Texas Cherokee Township
- Participate in hands-on activities with Chickasaw of Central Texas and Indigenous Cultures Institute
- Make a cornhusk dragonfly
- 10:30 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. Native American storytime and craft with Austin Public Library
