Bullock Museum Homeschool Day: Dinosaurs

Enjoy free admission all day and explore the T. rex: The Ultimate Predator exhibit and the Texas History Galleries. Participate in hands-on activity stations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to learn about the intersection of dinosaurs and Texas history.

Drop-in activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Discover the similarities between birds and dinosaurs by exploring how they ate
  • Dig up fossils using your best paleontologist skills in a mock dig activity
  • Unearth Arctic dinosaur fossils encased in ice
  • Examine projectile points from different eras of Texas history
  • Sort different types of dinosaur feathers
  • Based on a fossil, design a dinosaur that might match it
