APL After Dark: Speakeasy

Step back into the roaring 1920s as the Austin Central Library transforms into a hidden speakeasy for one unforgettable night to celebrate the Austin Public Library's Centennial. Slip through the stacks and discover an evening of jazz, glamour, literary intrigue, and Prohibition-era revelry. Don your finest flapper dresses, sharpest pinstripes, and sparkling accessories as you explore secret corners of the library filled with live music, interactive activities, dancing, and unexpected surprises around every level.

Whether you're a seasoned bootlegger of knowledge or simply looking for a night on the town, we invite you to celebrate the stories, style, and spirit of the Jazz Age.

This is a ticketed event, and tickets must be presented at the door for entry. There will not be any re-entry after an attendee has left the event.

Entry is limited to adults of at least 21 years of age. A government-issued ID card will be needed to enter. Children will not be allowed to attend.

Snacks and open bar will be available at the event for all attendees.
