GAB Fest: Bring Your Writing to Life - Performance for Authors

Do you get nervous reading your work in front of an audience, or secretly long to shine in front of a mic? Poet and longtime open mic host Hollie Hardy welcomes Austin Poet Laureate Zell Miller III and award-winning audiobook narrator Marcus Barton to give you the tips and tricks you need to bring your writing to life and to offer advice for those curious about audiobook narration. 

This workshop will include discussion, Q & A, practical suggestions for powerful performances, live demonstrations, and the opportunity for volunteers to practice at the mic and receive supportive, actionable feedback.
