Come explore the intersection of traditional ceramics and emerging technologies. This demonstration-based workshop will give an overview of the creative process from concept to physical object with guided interaction with materials. No experience is required. Limited to 30 seats. First comes, first served.

About the Presenter:

Nasrin Iravani is a computational designer, ceramic artist, and creative technologist based in Austin, Texas. Her work operates at the intersection of traditional craft and emerging technologies, exploring how computational systems and material intelligence can coexist within contemporary creative practice. Nasrin earned her Doctor of Design in Cultural Preservation, Materials & Technology, from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA. Her doctoral dissertation examined how computational design methodologies can engage in meaningful dialogue with traditional ceramic art, creating new pathways between cultural heritage and digital fabrication.
