Professional Development for Emerging Artists & Curators

Spatial Design and Installation

Please join us in Central Library's Gallery for the second in a five part series of professional development discussions for emerging artists and curators.

This session is presented by Chris Tobar Rodriguez (@tobartakeover) who will be discussing his experience with World-Building as a Curatorial Practice: Expanding Exhibitions into Living Narratives; Exploring how to turn an exhibition into a full universe through branding, storytelling, narrative voiceovers, spatial design, and creative technology.

This event is part of Austin Public Library + _OFCOLOR's Curation Fellowship, in partnership with The Library Foundation.

The conversation is created for adults 18+, but everyone is welcome. You don't have to be an artist or curator to attend, learn, and discover!
