Wings at Dusk: Austin's Bats & Native Night Gardens

The Balcones Canyonlands Preserve (BCP) and Austin’s bats are two of our city's most fascinating natural treasures. Join Erin Cord, Environmental Supervisor for the BCP Outreach Team, to learn about the preserve, the bats that call it home, and simple ways you can support both in your own backyard. Come learn about one of Austin’s best-kept secrets and these incredible flying mammals that make our city so special. The Windsor Park Branch Library is proud to host this event as part of the City of Austin's Roots & Wings Festival, which celebrates nature in our city.  FREE native plant transplants for the first 30 participants

La Reserva Balcones Canyonlands (BCP) y los murciélagos de Austin son dos de los tesoros naturales más fascinantes de nuestra ciudad. Acompaña a Erin Cord, supervisora ​​ambiental del equipo de divulgación de la BCP, para conocer más sobre la reserva, los murciélagos que la habitan y formas sencillas de apoyar a ambos desde tu propio jardín.
