Tween Code Club

Learn new skills at Austin Public Library creating projects in Scratch following the Rasberry Pi Code Club curriculum.

Students follow printed tutorials assigned according to interest, experience and ability, supported by an adult as necessary to gain coding skills in a guided and sequenced format. For complex projects, students may work on the same project over several weeks.

Scratch is a programming language and online community where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations -- and share your creations with others around the world. In the process of designing and programming Scratch projects, young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.

All levels welcome ages 8-12.

Registration encouraged but not required.
