What is this Ham Radio thing???

When All Else Fails, Ham Radio Works!

Have you heard of Ham Radio, AKA, Amateur Radio? Well it's anything but amateurish.

Ham radio is a licensed radio service that enables you to communicate all around the world and even outer space with your own equipment. It’s vital for emergency communications, technological advancement, Off-Grid Communications and it’s an incredible hobby for young and old with over 750,000 licensed hams in the United States. Ham radio service is the most powerful and longest range radio service available to the general public, once you get a license.

Join us as we have Jeff Schmidt N5MNW from the Austin Amateur Radio Club come by and educate folks on the ins and out of Ham Radio, we hear he may bring a few tables of discovery and one with a live Amateur Radio station!
