Grief: Life’s Quiet Teacher

Join Sady Sparks, Poet Laureate Emeritus, for a welcoming poetry workshop that explores how we process grief and difficult emotions when words don’t come easily. Through unique, off the wall prompts tailored to the group, participants will explore shared human feelings without relying on conventional poetry clichés. Open to all experience levels.

The Badgerdog Creative Writing program includes workshops for all ages, classroom-based lessons, and youth camps to inspire and guide our up-and-coming writers. Badgerdog is a program of The Library Foundation, which offers a range of enriching cultural and educational community programs for all ages in close partnership with the library.
