Jumpstart Your Memoir Workshop

with Terri Schexnayder

This fun and inspirational workshop will help writers of all levels to discover your powerful stories. You do not have to be a writer—just willing to let your memories flow onto paper. Terri Schexnayder, Badgerdog Teaching Artist, will offer prompts based on poetry, fiction or nonfiction to help jumpstart your stories. All you have to bring is paper and a writing instrument, plus willingness to write your stories.

Tickets are limited! Sign up on Eventbrite, or stop by or call the library at 512-974-9840 to reserve your spot. If you arrive late, your spot may be given to a walk-up. If tickets sell out, we encourage you to sign up for the waitlist on Eventbrite.

The Badgerdog Creative Writing program includes workshops for all ages, classroom-based lessons, and youth camps to inspire and guide our up-and-coming writers. Badgerdog is a program of The Library Foundation, which offers a range of enriching cultural and educational community programs for all ages in close partnership with the library.
