Marta Minujín was born in 1943 in Buenos Aires. She studied fine art and art education, both in Buenos Aires. Minujín often uses ephemeral materials like cardboard, fabric, and food in her art. As a pop artist, she is inspired by popular and commercial culture, such as advertising, Hollywood movies, and pop music. She is well-known for her interactive artwork and belief that "everything is art."
