Kid's Rock Tumbling

Bring a rock you would like to have tumbled and polished. We will learn about the rock tumbling process, discover different types of rocks and minerals, as well as complete a rock scavenger hunt.

One rock per child. Children can bring multiple rocks and staff can assist in deciding which rock would tumble best. Rocks should be about 1.5-2inch in diameter.

The rock tumbling process takes a month to complete, with four different cycles. Caregivers will receive pictures through email of the rocks after each cycle. You will be notified when the rocks are complete and ready for pickup.

This is a first come, first serve event. Please arrive early and pick up your ticket at the front desk.
