Tuesday, October 6 - 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Terrazas Branch

According to the tradition of the Mayans from the Guatemalan highlands, when children are scared or have nightmares, adults give them worry dolls before they go to sleep. Children put them under their pillow, and when they wake up, their worries are gone.
Patrons will use popsicle sticks and yarn to wrap/weave around the sticks to create little characters in the style of the Guatemalan Worry Dolls. Kits will also include more advance materials to create more intricate dolls.
Gather with other families in the community on Tuesday nights to play in the children's area, make some art, build with Legos, and check out books!
