Tween Code Club: Python for Beginners

We are offering a FREE 4-week Python for Beginners programming course to Tweens ages 9-12. In this introduction to coding in Python, you will learn how to use variables, loops, and functions to create visual and interactive artwork, animations, simulations, games, and more.

By pre-registering for this 4-week series you are registering for all 4 dates and should plan to attend all 4 dates:

  • Tuesday, October 6
  • Tuesday, October 13
  • Tuesday, October 20
  • Tuesday, October 27

All classes are from 6:30-7:30 PM in the 3rd Floor Tween Lounge at the Central Library.

Note: Children under age 10 must have a parent or guardian remain nearby during the program. Seating will be available near the program room.

First come first served. Space is limited. We recommend that you attend all 4 sessions; however, it is not necessary. It is beneficial to attend the first session.

Classes will be presented by Westwood Robotics FIRST® Tech Challenge team Slingshot 20240.
