APL Relaunches Tool Library Program

Beginning Monday, 8/3, Austin Public Library is excited to relaunch a revamped Tool Library program. It will look and work differently than before in an effort to help improve access of these resources for all communities in Austin.

What's New in the Relaunch?

• Tools will check out for 21 days but are not renewable.
• Tools can be returned at any location, preferably at the circulation desk, not to book drops.
• Tools available for customer pick-up will be kept behind the circ desk.
• Customers must sign a waiver the first time they check out a tool.
