Teen Fellowship at the Library
The library, with support from the Library Foundation, has a paid teen fellowship program for youth. The Fellowship seeks to connect teens with their libraries and each other to create positive change in their communities.
For the 2025-2026 school year, the Teen Fellows are creating a project called Teen Voices, which encompasses a Teen Magazine and a series of Teen Workshops and Open Mics, as well as a podcast and radio show in partnership with KOOP Radio.

The Fellowship Application for the 2026-2027 school year is anticipated to open in May, depending on funding. The position runs through the school year. Ten (10) teens may be hired each year, with a pay of $21 per hour for up to 10 hours of work per month. The Teen Fellowship at the Library envisions a future where teens are active in decision-making about their libraries and work on projects that support teens by leveraging library resources.
